Tennis string tension-does it matter?
I just ordered a Prince O3 Silver Oversize racquet from www.dickssportinggoods.com yesteray. I found from the confirmation email that they made a mistake on the string tension. I asked for 50 lbs and they ordered 51 lbs. The string ordered was Wilson NXT tour 16 g. Can someone tell me if it matters. I called the custom service and was told that it could not be changed even it was their fault. I also found that this store has nothing to do with the Dick’s Sport store. The web company just bought the name ot use it. Anyone knows if this is legal? Thanksl.

the tighter the strings the more control u get
the looser the strings the more power u get
1lb of tension wont make a great difference in the play and feel of the racquet
using the name of the store would be perfectly legal as long as the website bought the rights to it..
